Second Fig is an emerging indie chamber folk/pop project anchored by the songwriting of harpist and vocalist Liz Gobbo and the arranging talents of multi-instrumentalist Joan Grunt. Combining ethereal vocals with lush, orchestral arrangements and lyrics inspired by overlooked narratives from history, religion, and folklore, Second Fig's music explores queerness, grief, and solidarity, seeking to reveal and reimagine the stories that feel like home to us, testing the familiar borders between eras, egos, and worlds.
